I will inevitably have to pass judgement on your work, but I will never judge it. My pet peeves will be left at the doorstep, as there’s no room for them when we’re working together. I don’t care if you misuse colons or your pacing’s off; I do care about fixing them to make your book the best it can be.

No book is perfect, not even those that’ve been rigorously checked by several editors and readers. Nor can anyone – not even those who promote your book – guarantee sales or bestseller status.
Anyone who’s interested in helping authors, rather than lining their own pockets, wouldn’t make such lofty claims.
I’m upfront about my services, what to expect, and how much they’ll cost. Why? Mainly because I want you to make an informed choice about what you’re getting into, but also because I’m sick of authors being taken advantage of.
Your story should be rife with unexpected twists and turns. Services you pay for shouldn’t.
I want you feeling you’ve partnered with a supportive team member, someone who’ll champion your work and cheer your ears off (I can cheer silently, too).
Editing shouldn’t feel like a stiff, businesslike transaction; nor should it be a one-sided affair. I’ll work with you, learn your goals and what makes you tick, and take your preferences on board.
